UFC Fan Expo - Mobile Ticket Problems
"I have attended the last 3 Fan Expo's with my son and this year we were surprised that we did not have the option to print hard copies of the tickets, but we felt reassured that we had them on my cell phone and could quickly bring them up to show for entrance on all 3 days.
On Friday, the digital tickets came up on my phone with no problem.
On Sunday, prior to leaving our hotel, I checked my phone to ensure that day's tickets were digitally accessible, and they were. However, upon entry to the event, they had been erased as well, and once again we had to plead with the attendant and show my receipt.
On Saturday, the digital tickets had 'disappeared', apparently when they had been scanned on the previous day they got erased from my phone. I still had a receipt of payment, and the attendant let us in.
If Ticketmaster and Mania - The ABBA Tribute would have agreed to provide 'smart lanyards' that held all information and could be used at entry for the tenure of the event - these lanyards worked fantastic in previous years. Easy to display, to store event photos, etc. Ticketmaster would have given an option to print hard copies of the tickets.
I do hope that my concern is read and considered for making next year's event similar to what it was in the previous years - 'user friendly'.
Thank you kindly.
